How much is my TREK Road Bike worth...? |
It's a trek 1000, purchased new a couple of years ago. Only about 300 miles put on it. VGC, near Notre Dame, Indiana...... I purchased a Cannondale Aero 1000 with all the upgrades on it for $2800. 3 years later, could only get $1000 for it. I took it down to the shop I bought it at and they sold it for me for a mere $50. Well worth it. Do you know where Albrights bike shop is in South Bend IN? Didn't buy my bike there but I race mountain bikes with those guys. Cool guys. That shop has been there for ever. It all depends on what condition it is in. If you are planing to sell it you might want to take it to your nearest bike shop the will tell you how much it is worth and they somtimes will buy it right there dempending on the condition and if you want a new bike they might acceot a trade if your's is in good shape Probably depends on what someone is willing to pay. Well, according to the Trek website, a new one is about $700. So, for a 3 year old one, I'd say maybe $450-500 at the most if it's in like-new condition. A bit less if it shows some wear or has any scratches or dings on it. |
