I just picked up a Talbot road bike. Can anyone give me backgound on the Talbot frame? Thanks?

A long time ago, Richard Talbot wrote a book on building bicycle frames. I imagine that the bike you have was built by him.

He was primarily devoted to hand construction of frames by the common man using common tools and simple techniques, so I imagine your frame represents this type of work. Source(s): 27 years in the industry

I have never heard of these frames. Is it a custom frame? Where did you buy it?
the only thing I could find on line was a hydrogen powered motorcycle designed by Nick Talbot
