I'm 6'4'' What size road bike should I get? Cm? Probably 60-62 cm. But 2 people that are both 6'4" might need different sized bikes. If one has a long torso and shorter legs, one might have longer legs and a shorter torso. Best to go to your local bike shop & get properly fitted. MY FATHER IS 6'4 AND HE GOT A BIKE OF 27 OR 26 AND HE LOOK PERFECT IN IT SO I REALLY THINK YOU SHOULD BUY A BIKE LIKE THAT AND FIRST YOU SHOULD TRY GOING IN THIS WEBSITE MODELLS.COM WHERE YOU CAN FIND GOOD BIKES ACORDING TO WHAT YOU LIKE (62 CM) SHOULD BE GOOD FOR YOU get thee to your local bike shop and "get fitted" this is the best and only real way to make sure the size and set up is correct for YOU Start here: http://www.sheldonbrown.com/frame-sizing... and read all the linked articles, too. If you are just looking for an inexpensive road bike for occasional riding, go 60-63cm or XL size. If not, hit the bike shops. Be careful at bike shops. No doubt the two top contributors have a good relation with their shops, but YOU probably don't. New customers get sold, old friends get service. Do yourself a favor and check out multiple shops. A proper bike fitting (not just measuring your inseam) costs $$$, which frequently can be applied to the purchase at that shop. Go to 5 different shops and you may get 5 different readings and could be out $500. Hope this helps. |
