Where can i find a good place for road bike training workouts? |
Where can i find a good place for road bike training workouts? If you are looking more for ideas on training then I would recommend going to the library and checking out Chris Carmichael's "Ultimate Ride". Training can be done indoors on trainers or rollers. And training is done outside. I go to my local park b/c there isn't a lot of traffic and it has both flat and hilly areas where I can practice interval sprints and other cycling techniques. I would also recommend scouting around your town for roads that would be helpful to your training. Source(s): dds Just ride There are cycling clubs in most major cities. They usually have weekly rides set up Go to a local bike shop, one that you plan on purchasing stuff from, and talk to the employees there, as all of them ride and they can turn you on to web sites and routes and clubs to get active with. |
