Where's a good place to sell a Jamis road bike? (and not eBay)? depending on where you live.. dont know if your area is on there... but do try craigslist.org on the right side is a list of different countries/cities/states So much stuff on tehre.. might be a little difficult finding the right category, but its a good local selling website Classifieds in your local newspaper. a very easy way is to see if your local bike shop will sell it on consignment... especially if you have a favorite shop that you go to a lot and spend money there they will be likely to help you... and you don't have to worry about payments, shipping, etc. depends on where you live but you could look on the internet for a bike swap near you. fantastic for selling bikes, even better for buying parts i liv in CT went to one in Mass. and got almost $400 worth of mtb clips pedals and shoes, helmet was a brand new giro $15, clips good condition used shimano $20, shoes brand new adidas hammers $10 dollars. great place to sell bikes too. Jamis makes good bikes and you shouldn't have any trouble selling yours. Try putting a posting up on Craigslist. Some people comb those ads all day looking for good bikes. You could also stop in a local bike shop and ask them if they know of any other local forums to post an ad. Many shops have a "classifieds" bulletin board. I would suggest doing a little research on craigslist, ebay, other other places to figure out how much your bike sells for- keeping in mind that the better the condition, the more you can get. |
