What does rake have to do with an off road bike? |
Im thinking of either getting the a CRF150F 08, 07 or 06 or a CRF230F 06. But is it worth having a bigger gas tank? Thank you the rake has to do with the angle of the forks which affects the steering of a bike. if you are tall enough to fit on a CRF230, I would opt for that. both bikes are based on the old XR line engine style with trail capable suspension and brakes, steel frame and the 230 carries an electric starter where the 150 is kick. there is alot more difference than merely a bigger gas tank involved with the 230 being a large frame, heavier bike, more engine... it is good to have a bigger gas tank if ur gonna do trail riding but if ur gonna race or just ride around with some friends id go with the crf150r or f i would go with the CRF 150 |
