If you want to be able to hear anything else while you ride, look at a fluid trainer. Cyclops Fluid 2 is a great choice. I bought a new one on Ebay for less than $200 with shipping.

I presume you mean Bike rather than 'turbo'?

If so then any aluminium roadbike (with or without mudguards) will do, dont buy a bling machine for a training bike its not worth it! A heavier bike than your usual steed is the norm for a trainer and get some 'winter-proof' tyres such as continental gators skins.
