How to do a burnout on a road with a 150cc bike.....? |
hey guyz,i've got a 150 cc bike which weighs about 150 kgs..... whenever i try to do a burnout on the road,the front wheel skids forward even after me applying full front brake..... i can easily do it on gravel or mud....but not on actual roads..... is it bcoz the byk is too heavy???? please help me.... You can try moving forward towards the gas tank. Try even sitting on the gas tank. Your problem is you need more weight towards the front of the bike. lean forward towards your handle bars and keep your feet on the ground until your back tire breaks traction, a 125, or 150 should be rather simple play bikes, want to try a heavy bike by a ninja, course you know doing burn outs may look cool to you and your friends but it lowers the gripping power of your tires and no grip in a high speed corner could spell pain. An ol' trick we used to do was to pour bleach on the tires 'and smoke'em up' Shift your weight forward while keeping your feet planted to the ground. the tires may not be up to the job if it's sliding. Not sure why you'd want to burn out, considering the loss of tire tread over time, but the main reason you can't burn out, is most likely that your rear tire has more tread than the front, and grabs more, which is the reason you front tire skids. The back tire that grips better is pushing the bike forward. The only way to get the intended outcome would be to either change the rear tire to one that is worn more on the treads, or apply something to the tread that will cause it to break traction, such as a little oil. Carry a little squeeze can of oil, and apply it to the tire. Then move the bike, so that spot is on the ground. After, you can spin the rear tire, once the traction is broken, increasing the throttle will continue to cause the burnout. i can do it fine on a crf 150f, maybe the tires arent worn down enough, that really helps Lock the front brake, pour some Chlorine-bleach on the rear tire, and you'll see gobs of billowing clouds of smoke! |
