I'm looking into buying a 2001 Yamaha YZ off road dirt bike. Its a 426cc. Whats the most i should pay for one?


its also a used bike. what would one of these sell for if it were new?

($1) You will spend all your time changing spark plugs, working on it or trying to start it. The valves stick real bad on a 426. Go buy a Honda CRF 450. You could get a good clean CRF for under $3000, or call a dealer for blue book price on the year and model. Stay away for buying a bike that has been raced.
I would say about 3000-4000 depending on the extras that come with it and the condition of course.
