Re quad bike question the quad BIKE is road legal ie lights indcators no plate tax and i live in britain?
you seem to answer your own question! If it has lignts indicators and number plate it is road legal. you may be able to ride it with a car driving licence. I would think that even a four-wheeled cycle, pedal-powered, would come under the same regulations as a 2 wheeled pedal powered one. It would seem that there would be a problem only if there was an engine or electric motor propelling it above a set speed, then it would be a motor vehicle and subject to another whole set of regulations. But then this is logical and that is one thing governments are not. Only certain quads are classed as road legal and the will have a mark somewhere on them stating so. Best check with the DVLA.
