Are guys 14 yrs old allowed to drive a mini bike on a road? |
And in a neighborhood? heres your sign have you ever senn multiple 14 year olds riding on the street? NO No one is allowed to drive on the road at 14. Those Gopeds require you to be 16 AND no more than 35cc`s and no more than 24mph. If U live in states like Mississppi or the Dakotas,I believe YES! No. He would have to drive a registered vehicle, with a license plate on it, and would have to have a driver's license, to ride it legally on the road. go ahead if u want this bike confiscated on sight. no mini bike in any state is street legal. they cant be registered or plated, just like pocket bikes. even those with motorcycle licenses cant legally ride these on the street. since u have no license, lemme break it down to what u'll face if the cops stop u...and they will stop u. u will get: no license, operation of an unlicensed vehicle, and no vehicle registration just for starters. and u will get this bike confiscated. ya dont have to belive me, but if u choose not to and the cops spot u, as sure as god made rain, u will lose the bike and u will find urself in court. States differ in their laws. You should tell in your question which state you are living in. But yes, they are legal some places (if under a certain engine size...I think 50cc here in Wyoming). I see kids riding them a lot, so they are quite popular. No, mini-bikes are not street legal and can not be ridden on the road. Even if they were street legal, you would not be allowed to ride it on the street at 14. If you do, the bike would be confiscated on sight and you could very likely be arrested. |
