Some good high end road bikes and some good downhill/fr bikes? |
Does anyone know any top of the line brands for a road bike or a downhill/freeride bike? Preferebly Italian for the road bikes. THe most expensive. Check out Masi, Orbea (spanish), Guru, Colnago for road bikes. Not sure about italian mtb companies but if you want an expensive mtb try Scott bikes for dh/fr. For Italian road bikes, the Pinarello Dogma is the ultimate - with Campy Record of course. I have no idea on road bikes. On freeride, Intense, Nicolai, Turner, Ventana, Kona, Specialized, Titus. Check the road bikes at Evans Cycles ( www.evanscycles.com ) ---Excellent road bikes you'll find sexy include Cervelo,Felt,Argon ( www.primera-bournemouth.co.uk ). As for downhill freeride----check Wheel World ( www.wheelworld.com ), EBAY ( www.ebay.com) --under Sporting Goods category---Mountain Bikes/Frames---find anything from INTENSE,SEVEN, ROCKY MOUNTAIN etc. thats downhill/freeride specific----check the size,componentry and warranties!
