huh? I never heard of Trex Gould.
Anyway, you might want to consider Raleigh or Diamondback for your budget. The Diamondback Topanga is a nice hardtail. One step down is the Diamondback Sorrento. these are both ATB's- "all terrain bikes" that will be great on the road or offroad on groomed trails.
Trek (Trex??) are good as well, but seem to have components that are one grade lower than comparably priced Raleigh and Diamondback.
