Can anyone tell me of anyone or anyware i could rent a small patch of land to ride some of road bikes on? |
in the west sussex england area we are responsible adults who just need to test the bikes now and again before taking them to the proper track which is thrity miles away willing to pay cash to use the smallest pice of land mabe one or twice a week for an hour can anyone put us on to someone bognor regis west sussex england Too bad you are on the other side of the Atlantic, not to mention the North American Continent. I bought 40 acres of Southern California Desert for the reason you state. The places to operate a dirt bike or off road vehicle here is shrinking fast and the fees are climbing. My patch of dirt/sand costs me $30.00 a year in taxes. Anyway you are welcome to come share. Sorry to say, but no one in there right mind would rent you the land to do this kind of activity. These machines ruin the land. They churn and oil the ground to the extent that the only possible use after prolonged use is new build prodjects, which is limiting the possible revenue for any land. The only way you'll actually manage to do this is to start a club and take out an extended long term lease with cash up front. I dont mean to sound 'put down'-ish. But you'll have to find this out eventually and you did ask the question. Good luck though!! try your local farmer he let's us ride them around his feilds but chek when and what times the farmers are ok if they dont have cattle and it saves them scaring the birds.i dont no if thats much help for your area? |
