Why does Harley call it the "Road King", when its soooo underpowered?

I can't believe the amount of money I spent and how truly underpowered this bike is. I know I can go out and spend an extra $5k (I'm embarrassed to say that would bring the cost of the bike close to $30k) and I may be able to squeek out close to 80-85 horsepower, but after spending $20k ++ brand new on a bike called the "Road King", you'd think it would be built with more than the paltry 65 horsepower it puts out. Even the new pipes I put on only make it noisy - they barely did anything to raise power. I suppose I, like many others, made the mistake of equating noise to power. So can anyone tell my why Harley continues to make such underpowered bikes and why I should continue to ride one? I'm ready to sell the chaps and go back to riding German.

Hey dumby,If you want to race,buy a Ducatti,if you want to cruise for chicks the Road King will do just fine.
Because we haven't demanded power from them perhaps? Road King is a good name. Most Kings are ineffective without constant input from an outside source. I know this does not answer anything you wanted to know. I am just really bored
Okay, You're right. Go buy your German bike if that will make you happy. A typical Harley is not about 150 hp unless you want that and yes, it can be done. A Harley is a bike that you feel. If you don't get it, you just don't get it.
Maybe you should of got a Buel,Harley.Maybe a rice burner,crotch rocket.Its low compression you could add nitrous.You have the heads shaved to bring up the compression ratio.New Carbs.My brother had a low rider,it was a pig too,he tried everything.Un-like the 1949 Pan Head he had,a lot of balls,but geared low.would top at at 95mph,but you got there quick.
