Road Legalising a KDX200/CR250 In New Zealand.?


Well, i've decided to buy myself a KDX200 for my roadworth transport.
But, obviously, i'm sure the '92-'94 versions don't come with numberplates.
How much do you think i'm looking at to road legalise one of these bikes?
I'm sure I need a VIN plate, which I have no understanding of whatsoever...

I just want to get this all sorted out from home, instead of buggering off with a car and trailer every time to fix things to what it needs to be.
