What do you say to a lady that screams at you just for walking up her road? |
SHORT VERSON:Its a public road, all i did was walk by on my bike and she accused me of trespassing on a privet road then procceded to follow and screem at me. DETAILED VERSON: She then proceeded to follow me after i told her its a public road and that she did not own every house on the neiborhood. She told me that the dogs said i was dangerous and thats why they were barking at me and she was going to call the police. She was screeming and being threataning so i told her that if she wanted to call the police i would wait for them to come. I also told her after the second threat she made that she needed to step away form me and the bike and walk home , i said this very firmly so she kept her distance after that and i was able to leave the situation. I have a good freind that lives on her road and im not going to not go up there just because of her. How do you think is the best non agressive way to deal with people that seem to be threating? Wave and tell her to have a great day! She's old and lonely. Offer to cut her lawn and make nice. There may be a batch of cookies in it for ya! Tell her to shut the F#*k Up....! Tell her to call the police if she doesn't like it. If you're doing nothing wrong, then you can tell the police she has been verbally attacking and stalking you every time you walk by. That should solve the problem. you should make a police report for harassment In many jurisdictions you could have her charged with simple assault. Hauling her into court might cork that mouth for her. Ask your police dept, or District Attorney. Don't do anything. If it's a private road and you're not bothering her (depite the fact that her dogs might not like it), so she can call the cops but they won't do anything. If she just stands there and yells at you, then she's the one violating your rights, not the other way around. I would just ignore her -- obviously she's old and has issues. |
