What is the website for SHOCKWAVE bike?

i just got a shockwave bike from halford for xmas from a friend am trying to get the website for the shockwave bike manufacturer so that i can know how the gears work, what number of gear to use o grass /road e.t.c

Shockwave appears to be a European version of Huffy here in the US. As a result, you will find NOTHING regarding helping the user figure out how to use their bike. These types of companies have 1 goal in mind... flood the market with cheap product and let the users figure it out for themselves. This is NOT meant to be offensive, quite the contrary, if this is your first bike, use your expereince on it for a few months to help you make a buying decision on an actual bike store brand (Trek, Giant, Gary Fisher, KHS, Jamis, Litespeed, etc...) bike which will FAR exceed your experiences and expectations with your Shockwave bike.

So the short answer is, go ride, that will let you figure out what gears to use for which conditions. At the very least, take the bike into a local bike shop to have it inspected, and have yourself fitted for proper seat and handlebar height. This will make riding the bike MUCH more appealing!

Hope this helps! Source(s): Bike mechanic/salesperson/former racer for MANY years! I know this industry inside out!
It all depends on the rider - there's no stereotypical gears for particular surface. So just feel your legs and the bike. Don't put on like minimal chainring at the front and minimal chainring at the back and otherwise - your chain will get twisted. Plus check if rear derailleur is fixed, that you won't put it in the spokes, while changing gears to the maximum chainring.
