if it's the wrong rating it will either blow again (too low) or fail to protect your bike (too high). Likewise if it's the wrong choice of quick/slow blow. If it blew because of a fault, you need to fix the fault first (but you'll find that out soon enough - the new fuse will also blow)
Otherwise, if it fits, it's fine. if they are both rated at 30 amps then yeah, a fuse is a fuse mate, but why did the bike blow the fuse ? thats what you need to determine.
