What do you think of Motobecane?

I'm looking for a road bike and am wondering if anyone has had any experience with this brand of road bike? If you wouldn't recommend that one, what would you suggest? Thanks.

Good bikes. The best advice is to ride a selection of bikes in your price range and select based on the experience.

Don't forget to consider used bikes. You can significantly extend your "price range" by purchasing a used bike.

If you're talking about the cheapy ones they sell on e-bay, they're not very good. Scott, Trek, and Giant sell some nice entry level road bikes for around $600+. You get what you pay for.
