Cycling in Nova Scotia? |
My question is I have a nice trek road bike and im bringing it to nova scotia for 11 days from any experience that anybody6 has living by an ocean can the bikes rust in that duration of time? unprotected metal can get rust overnight is paint job good? spray gears, chain, brakes, etc, with WD40 (displaces water) for 11 days just use caution... wipe it down, etc Hi, I live in Nova Scotia and do lots of both mountain and road biking. Rust is not an issue. It would only be an issue if you actually took it in the ocean or left it outside for an extended time. A fantastic road bike trip is to bike the Cabot trail.
