I need ideas for a nice yet low cost holiday gift for the hard to buy for man? |
My boyfriend and I have decided that for the holidays we would give each other a small gift to open at our respective families houses. He is into war games on the computer, road biking, fitness, and hockey. Anyone out there with ideas for a hard to buy for man? Tickets to a sporting event. or sports equipment. However....... if you are crafty.......... you can make him a fleece blanket. All you need is 3 yards of plain fleece and 3 yards of print fleece. then cut 3 inch by 1 inch strips around the entire outer sides of the blankets (put one on top of the other) then tie the strips together ( plain and print) whoa la - a personal, not to expensive gift. (Just watch for the sales on fleece at Walmart or Joanne Fabrics to get it 1/2 price. dont get him a computer game... its too overdone get him some war games!! or mayb....some weights or somthing he could use for road biking like...new helmet,gloves etc... Get him the game Risk...it's an all time classic, and really fun to play. A engraved key chain is nice for a busy guy, or engraved lighter if he smokes get him a subscription to something like Men's Health or another magazine thats subject matter is something he is interested. Usually if you give a gift subscription you will get a card or postcard from the magazine to give to him.
