What is a good first dirtbike for me? |
I ride road bikes. I'm 6 foot 1. 160lbs. I'm not a speed deamon and I would like a 4 stroke...... I'd like to keep it under $2000. What do you guys think? 1 of the early Yamaha 426s They have been around quite a while now so you probly could pick one up for 2K. They about as hard as a two-stroke 250. Now if you wnat to up the ante and buy newer you choices get much better. yamaha was a great bike tho. Try a sportster any of the 250 or 450 crf,wr,or ktm would be a good bet. If you're looking for a good, reliable 4 stroke for your first dirt bike, you can't go wrong with Honda's XR line. The XR 400 has been around since about '94 so you should be able to find one for under $2000. I think you are nine thousand short. I'll give you some film to gawk at. View the military options first.
