I was involved in an accident car vs. bike (I was the car)? |
The bicylist was found at fault for riding on the wrong side of the road and on the sidewalk. I got a call from my insurance company saying I am 50% at blame!! Does this sound right. On the police report was was the only one issued a violation not me. I guess she also hired an attorney and this happened on May 12, 2006! thanks for any help!! There has to be a lot of details that you're leaving out here. Many times insurance adjusters will find the party not legally cited partially to blame. My guess is that even though the police found the cyclist violated the law, you did something too. Source(s): Insurance agent The insurance is going to find you at fault b/c you hit him. You're supposed to drive defensively not just go slamming into people b/c they are breaking the law. he or she fukced up and you fucked up to advice : think twice before u do anything why were you driving on a sidewalk....duh id get myself an attorney too...but i think your in deep trouble I would talk to your insurance agent first, then an attorney. |
