Looking to vacation in January where it is in the mid 60's and is road cycling friendly
ok, if you mean you live in san diego, then STAY THERE!!!! there is no other place that has those details.
Source(s):
ive been in almost every state (moving every year) and i used to live in san diego for 11 years. First of all I'm assuming S.D. refers to South Dakota, if it were San Diego you wouldn't be asking the question! Looking at meterological averages, mid 60's are hard to come by in January. The only places that AVERAGE 60's in January in the lower 48 are coastal central California, southern California, southern Arizona, south Texas, southeast Louisiana, extreme southern Georgia, and Florida. We all know however that weather isn't always AVERAGE. You might be able to get away with going somewhere that averages 50's and on the off chance you might get some 60's. The closest to South Dakota would most likely be the Texas area. If you want to try your odds Dallas might be a good choice, although Houston has a better chance of being warmer. http://www4.ncdc.noaa.gov
