What sport bike is best for the money? |
I am looking for a fast street performer that looks (and sounds) hot but don't have a fortune to spend - must turn heads, go fast and be fun on the winding roads. Any suggestings??? The best "bang-for-the-buck" in a new bike is an EX250 Ninja. Now before you start laughing, it's a fun bike and priced at $2999 (less if you hhmm 'n haww). The little, allbeight anciently styled, 250 will get you up over 100mph much quicker than most cars. Because of its light weight and small wheels it is one of the best handling bikes available, most Ninja 250 people with a little practice can keep up with their over-priced top of the line race replicas through the twisties. Even your insurance is much cheaper. It's just too bad that Kawasaki doesn't see fit to make it look a little more modern. Other than that I'd agree with the SV or maybe the new kawi 650. Better yet, buy a used GSXR600 for a song. I hear that all roads begin and end with the Suzuki SV650, particularly for newcomers to motorcycles. You can go for the "Suzuki hayabusa"...its the best bike ever built Looks good, Sounds good, Turns heads, Fun, That's a Harley Fast street performer... That's a Harley Davidson V-Rod I think the kawasaki Ninja 650R is a nice looking, fast and affordable bike. www.kawasaki.com |
