Is this any good? |
I brought this bike ages ago(although i dont ride it much) . I fancy a new bike but havnt got the moneys right now. I was wondering if this bike is good or not. would this bike be ok if i rode it off-road? I know its no big named bike but if was to sell it how much u do guys think i would get for it. Its a concept redback. Y alloy frame, 21 shimano gears. so do u giys think its not worth keeping and spending moneys on a new one?? pic: > http://img244.imageshack.us/img244/6218/... no have a look on ebay that may give you an idea on what its worth,but the bike looks ok to me Does it have a quick release lever front and back ? If not it's a low quality bike... What do you call a cyclist on the roads?..An organ donor...walk its safer! it's a department store bike, probably VERY heavy. even though the parts are shimano, they are the cheap kind, not like the qulaity you would find on a bike shop bike. as long as the ONLY money you would ut into it would be fr tubes, you're good. don't expect to get more than $50 if you're looking to sell it. search aroun on eBAY for a used specialized or giant bike... you might get a good deal on a good bike. cheers! KEEP THIS AS IT LOOKS OK IF YOU WANT AN OFF ROAD MOUNTAIN BIKE LOOK TO SPEND AROUND 拢500 PUS FOR A GOOD ONE KEEP THIS UNTIL YOU CAN AFFORD SOMETHING YOU LIKE I think we all would fancy a new bike on occasion but that's just human nature. You ask if this bike is good or not, I think that depends on a couple of things, one it's a good bike for what it's designed for and that's off road by the looks and if your willing to ride the bike. To sell the bike you probably wouldn't get that much due to a couple of factors, one the number of speeds is against it being 21 speed when you can now buy 27 and 30 speeds, and the cost of the bike new most likely wasn't that high to begin with. I would personally ride the wheels off it or give it to a deserving kid that needs a bike when I had money for the new bike I want. |
