I leave for work at 5;oo a.m. and my neigbor closes my gate. I leave it open for my son to go to work at 6;30.My dog's are in the house. I live in a rural area, this woman is out walking the dirt road at 4;00 A.M.with no street lites; all that is out here is the WILDLIFE,and she is handycapped.My husband asked me why did you close the gate this morning? but I leave it open .We have been thinking of hooking a cattle line to the gate 24 volts; what do you think? I should let you know that this woman is 96 lbs and she was riding her bike; and my 168 lb MASTIFF got her ,but this was at 2;30 in the afternoon, and he was going after the bike. She also never told us that he was following her down the road,as he was growin up she thought it was cute.

As tempting as it may be I'm pretty sure that it is illegal. You will be held liable (maybe criminally) if she is injured. Why not talk to her? BTW, your dog should never be left unattended to roam free that way there will never any issues with him.
