Speed camera problem.? |
Ahhh!!! SPEED CAMERA!!? I was going along on my bike, speedos a bit out, it saaid i was doin 31-32. A yellow camera on the otherside of the road went off and flashed twice. I ride a motorbike, so only number plates at the back, the camera that went off was facing the front of my bike. (circled back to check) Can i get caught for this? Grr. If the only picture taken was of the front of the bike where there's no plate, then no. they have nothing to go by other than a basic description, but they can't legally give you a ticket based on just that, because it could be a number of other people in the region, probably. Depends on where you live i would guess. Last time I talked to a officer friend in NJ.. about 3 years ago, he said it was still illegal for them to take pictures with those devices and the flash is just a dummy flash. I wouldn't worry about it. Without a plate number they're not going to waste time looking for you. Plus, without it they couldn't positively identify you anyway. You don't say what the speed limit was when you did 31-32 look for a camera on the back side of the street..otherwise do it again and flip the bird while going through the intersection. be sure to be wearing a full face helmet so they cant see your face some places flash front an back....... |
