I need help i am in trouble with the law for theft help me please i need to know whats gnna happen? |
well ok my friend and i went on a walk down the road and decided to go into a barn...he opened the door and i held the door open and he took this moped thing that was worth 2000 dollars and he pushed it around the barns and to myhouse and then he took the motor off of it and then he took the motor to his house and i threw the bike back in the woods well i wasnt really the one who commited the crime i was just there but i did ditch the bike so what do you think will happen as a punishment from the law i should hear from a probation officer in about two weeks since i am a minor they are the only ones who can punish me well please tell me what you think will happen thanks to you all later A lot depends on the state and your age. I know you are a minor, but if you are over the age of 14 you could be given probation or even sent to a juvenile detention facility instead of jail. The probation officer isn't the one who punishes you, it's the judge or the magistrate who presides over the case that determines your punishment. If you get anything less than that, be grateful you little punk. the least punishment you should do.. is pay for the moped and get spanked ( yes, you are acting like a small child) do you think your friend needs to be punnished more than you?? .......... youre just as guilty........ but youll probibly get a slap on the wrist and let go... but if it were up to me... you would work your *** off paying for the moped and then put in jail or probation........ cause as it stands ... it looks like your parent are going to have to foot the bill........ and all youll get out of it is a bad memory Well, you was the one that committed the crime, so let that BS go. You didn't leave, you helped to steal it, you helped to conceal evidence. Truth time for you. You'll probably get community service and a fine. Make sure you pay it out of your own pocket and don't hit Mommy and Daddy up to cover for your ***. Be a man and take responsibility for your dumbass actions. And get a better class of friends. The police can come to your house for the bike. If they find it you'll have to pay to replace it. It depends on the laws where you live but usually they don't jail minors and that being for theft too. Just watch out though. Someone can steal that bike from your yard and then you'll be theft free. |
