Tell me the best mens mounatin & road bike for under 400 hundred dollars!?

There are so many bikes but which one is the best for the money and that you can update to ride better? we know they are being built in China but which is one that compares to know other bike.

Mountain and Road? You mean a hybrid? It sounds like you do.... I am an avid fan of Giant. Here are some mountain and road and hybrids:

Road: You won't be able to get a good road bike for less then $650. Unless you get it used.

Mountain: This is an entry level giant: The Giant Boulder or Boulder SE is around $350. They are good entry level mountain bikes. The SE is made of ALUXX aluminum and has double walled rims so its wheels are stronger.

Hybrid: The Sedona or Cypress also arounf $400 ish
