Is it possible to switch out the flat bar and install a drop bar on this bike? It is possible. Think carefully, though -- a new bar, new shifters, new cables, and possibly an new stem may cost you almost as much as the cost of the bike. This is especially true if you are going to pay a bike shop's labor rate to do the work. Yes it's possible. You could, but I don't know why you would. Yes. If the handlebars don't fit the stem, you may need to buy a new stem. For road use you would probably want a negative rise stem, to enable you to ride in a more agressive riding style. Ask for a road stem. I wouldn't. Yep, I don't see why not. You'll need new STI shifters and cables (change in length) though. yea it simple |
