How to keep a new white bike clean?

I am buying a new road bike (the Trek 2.3 to be exact) and its only real downfall is that the only color it comes in is white. So I need a good way to keep my new bike clean. I was thinking there might be some type of clear tape more durable then packaging tape that I could use on the botom of the downtube to keep it clean. Any ideas? Also any suggestions on how to clean the bike once it is dirty are helpful!

Keeping any colour bike clean is always dificult. Mine is yellow and there is no simple solution. (Sorry about the pun) Car shampoo in warm water gets most dirt off and I have found those multi-fibre cloths useful too. But a clean bike does look good so I trust you have success.

clean the bike after it gets dirty (ex: used in the rain or right after it rains) and clean it with windex (it doesnt damage the bike)

First of all... NICE BIKE! And for your clean concern I would clean the bike after every ride, and get some cleaning supplies for bicycles. Or you can try wrapping some plastic wrap around the tube and that will keep it clean. Hope this helps!!
