Countryside/back roads to bike on in Orange County, CA?

Hi, I'm looking for some back roads and picturesque scenery in Orange County (CA) to go biking on. I don't want to really go off roading but gentle paths are okay. I'm thinking Old Town Orange may have some ranch areas but I'm not sure.

I'm not looking for open grassland... there's too much of that in Orange County and I'm deliberately trying to stay away from those areas. I want to find what is essentially an "old town" or ranch land.

For spectacular scenery, try the view of the ocean from Pacific Coast Highway. Newport Beach to Laguna Beach is quite popular for cycling.

look for greenbelts- many of the richer cities have them for people to cycle or jog on. Irvine is one of them (thats where i live)
