Can you drive a quad bike legally on roads in the uk at 16?

if so how old do you have to be? Thanx

in the uk.... all u allowed to drive at 16 is a 50cc moped, 17.... a 125cc motorbike/scooter - they all have 2 wheels.... a quad bike has 4 wheels... after all quad does mean 4.

So im affraid its passing a car test before ridding one on the road, i know for a fact you can make them road legal as my neighbour does have one which he takes out alot, just a case of headlights, tail lights, horn etc (if you register and MOT as daytime use you can just have brake lights and indicators fitted, and also revere light if applicable)

Bike test will cover trikes, but its wierd how a car license is needed for a reliant robin (3 wheeler, 2 at back, 1 at the front)

Do it offroad only thats what there for,

Do it without anyone watching if you must, so be carefull.
