Looking for a first street bike..suggestions/advice?? |
I am 17 & looking for my first street bike. I want something easy to ride but with power if i need it. I have been riding dirt bikes for about 5 years now and have developed a good sense of balance. The road is a whole new ring, lots of crazy drivers and stuff. Any suggestions on good bikes that are reliable and rider-friendly? For your first road MOTORcycle go with any 500cc mc from Kawa., Suz., Yam., or Honda. They will all be ultra reliable, easy to handle and reasonably priced. And with the money you saved over a 600cc mc you can get a good bicycle. Wow, I'm really concerned about the state of our youth these days. They are in school and can't even read to determine that this is the cycling section and not the motorcycle section. You'd get better answers posting under motorcycles. |

Yes as you have given permission to suggest other bike. And looking at your question above, your height is 5ft 2 inch and your budget is upto 50k. My suggestion is XCD 125 and its price is around 4... You will normally "feel the road" on a bicycle. Mainly due to the fact that you are riding on the road. However, you may not have considered checking your tyres - are they inflated to the... all i can say is the more u try the less scary it will be and i agree wid u ={ ...Bikes are not really supposed to ride on sidewalks. That's why sidewalks are called sidewalks. On some roads there may be a place which has a line specifically for bikers so the cars can avoid... Here are a few Shops in you area. Should be within about 10 km. Have a look around. you should be able to score bikes for around that money. Sacrifice suspension for the best components you can... There's a lot of other good bicycle manufacturers besides Raleigh. There's Trek, Bianchi, Cannondale, Specialized, LeMonde, Giant, Fuji, Felt, Jamis .... the list goes on and on.
