Better than gel cover on a bike seat?

I have tried the gel cover on my bike seat and I still feel the road! is there better?

You will normally "feel the road" on a bicycle. Mainly due to the fact that you are riding on the road. However, you may not have considered checking your tyres - are they inflated to the pressure marked on the sidewall? I recall hearing that having lower tyre pressure can lead to a bumpier ride, but don't quote me on that.

Edit: Also, cyclists are supposed to learn to lift their bums up a little bit just before going over a bump. This helps - trust me.

Yeah, dunno has come up with a good one was practically going to say that myself, the more you cycle the more you'll strengthen your buttocks to accept the bumps abit better.

you could try padded cyclewear,i find the more you cycle you just get used to the knocks.

some cyclists use anti friction gel or vaseline along with padded under shorts or cycling shorts. you apply the gel to your crotch area.
