Any one had one of these? Hi Kitti.... Nothing wrong with them in principle, but it will be a bit tired now - the suspension will almost certainly be well past its best if it hasn't been replaced. If the seller claims it's been sorted, then all well and good (assuming they aren't lying!). Handling will be on the twitchy side of nice, and it'll have enough power to keep you interested, although you might have to keep the revs up. If it's (very) cheap, and you are or have access to a friendly mechanic, then it could be a good buy. Not owned one but rode a friends on a number of occasion. All round found it handled fine. Have respect for the throttle and road conditions till you get used to it. Its got alot more to give then benly's etc. ride free live long Its ok on the straights but a bit jittery around the corners though, the steering is supriseingly light i got a yamaha maxim and i love it i got a 550 give it a shot sexy I have an old YZF. Similar in make. great bike. You'll be fine. To old, at LEAST go 96 or newer. |
