Does it help or hurt your voice?

Let's say you are riding your bike down the road and there's a fair amount of wind blowing. And you start singing. Does that help or hurt your voice? Does it help or hurt your breathing?

Thx 鈾?/div>

Report It

Well, if you are just riding your bike into the wind, assuming that you are singing correctly, there shouldn't be any major effect on your voice. As stated, it may dry your mouth out which will make it difficult to sing temporarily, but properly hydrating yourself should fix that. One possible advantage of this would be that by performing cardiovascular exercise while singing, you are building up your breathing strength and capacity. Personally, I jog and sing regularly to build cardiovascular and vocal strength. This will pay off when you are working on long phrases, holding extremely long notes, and especially if you are in a situation in which you must be dancing or moving while singing. Overall, I would say so long as you keep properly hydrated, this would do nothing but good for your voice.

Note that you must make certain that are still using proper technique while doing this. It may be difficult to maintain correct singing habits while focusing on biking as well, but if you let your technique drop off as a result, then you may do some damage to your voice, but it has nothing to do with riding really.

I hope this helps! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Neither, unless riding your bike makes you thirsty, then that hurts temporarily.

well theres nothing really good or bad for your voice. So i guess its not bad for you.
