Has anyone any experience with the Apollo Pave road bike? |
Looking around at bikes, and that's the apollo one that falls within my price range. I don't have experience with that exact bike, but I do with what it is made of. The Easton frame and wheels are great. It is all 105 group except the cranks ( I guess you can make an exception for that ;p ). |

At that price range you can get most anything. But, also, you will want a bike made for exactly the type of riding you do. My picks would depend on whether you toured, commuted, raced, performance ... All 3 are nice. I like the Dolce and FW40 better than the OCR. They have Tiagra rear derailleurs and 9 speed gearing while the OCR has 8 speed Sora rear Derailleur. Of all 3 I'd take the Dolce... Besides Craig's List, EBay is a popular place to sell bikes. If you don't want to pack it to ship you can sell it as pick up only. Some bike shops may do a trade in but fewer buy used bik... The Dragon Ride eh? The UK sportive season has some toughies this year ( I am currently planning my calender) But the Dragon ride has always been tough. If you are new to these events, then I...
