What do you guys think about white tires on a road bike?

These tires have the white on the side, and a black stripe in the middle where the tire meets the ground.

For special occasion riding? Looks good? Better than say other colors, red, etc?

Nothing wrong with white tires, except maybe keeping them immaculately clean. Have you seen all the colors Continental Grand Prix 4000 comes in? 9 different collors.

If it matches your bike, then go for it!

White will get grubby quicky, but if you're like most roadies - then you will look after your bike and keep it clean anyway.

WHITE ? I ride white tires ! love them although they are not truly white, I have vittoria's(white) on now and have a new set of schwallbe's,(white) ready to go for race season.and they dont get as dirty as you would think. although I do keep my ride clean! Colnago c-50 (mostly white), if I cant be fast at least I will look fast!!cheers!

White tyres are cool because are not very common. Other than that there's nothing veri spacial

I'm not a big fan of white tires myself. Generally I think they make your bike look more antique. Then again, if you have an old road bike maybe that's what you're going for. White tires are also going to get ridiculously dirty. I actually like the other colors better, but only if they match your frame. I think they look more modern.

i have grey and black to match my bike... white...eeeehhhh not so much...
