Which Products do You Wish were Available for Recumbent Bicycles & Recumbent Cyclists?

Hello,

This question pertains to any type of recumbent bicycle or recumbent cyclist: "traditional," high-racer, low-racer, trike, and so on.

The products you would like to see could include those for the recumbent bike itself, or for the rider, such as special clothing or protection. The items could pertain to just riding for fun, touring, or commuting. Specifically, I would like to hear of items for recumbents'cyclists that are not available, or existing items that should be improved.

1. An automatic kickstand that comes out when I stop so I don't have to unclip from my high-racer

2. A good way to lock a Bacchetta

3. A good way to put fenders on the bike (Bacchetta Strada)

4. An easy (and affordable) way to transport the Strada, EZ-Tandem, Rans Screamer and a couple of regular bikes. (I'd be happy even with a way to transport two of them at a time!)

5. A good way to mount an air horn where it doesn't interfere with knees.

6. Improved knee/handlebar clearance for sharper turns at low speeds.

- i have heard of some crazy bottom brackets that are full of oil, like a car's engine. you you fill it and replace the oil every so many miles. this will reduce friction big time. THERE IS A N IDEA, WHO WANTS TO DEVELOP THAT WITH ME?

Better chain line pulley management stuff at reasonable prices

more selection in short (145-165mm) arm cranksets

and better 'bent bike prices in general.

Most recumbents have weird pipes making the mounting of accessories impossible or requiring much in the way of hacking.

Lights, computer, bottle cages, bells, all the stuff upright bikers take for granted are difficult to mount effectively and conveniently on bents.

TerraCycle offeres many great solutions but they're a bit parochial.
