How do you remove rust from an electric scooter/razor moped?

Thanks. My brother left my electric scooter outside for a while when I was away, and now it is all rusty on the metal parts. Also, if anyone knows how to comletely get the sticky stuff that stickers leave behind off of plastic that would help too.

Oh, and it would help if it was a homemade way!

"naval jelly" (avail in the US, at least) is the old favorite, available at hardware stores.
As the poster above suggests, the product "CLR" removes calcium, lime, and rust, and you might have it already for kitchen/bath cleaning.
Any strong acid should also work (muriatic, etc., but something like vinegar is probably not strong enough.. usually 4%).
