Should I buy my daughter a Nintendo DS or a Razor electric scooter for her 10Th birthday?

Does anyone know if the scooter is any good?

I would recomend the scooter only because it will fit her age longer because in a few years she will outgrow the DS and get tired of playing the games and the she would like the scooter longer........

I'd do some thorough checking. Some places the scooters are illegal for certain ages. I'd be really upset if I spent money on something that couldn't be used. I think I'd say DS and roller blades for exercise.

Get her the DS, those scooters are dangerous. There are so many kids injured on those things every year. Might as well give her a can of gas and some matches. Two things I would never give to a kid is one of those scooters or those healy shoes with the wheels in them, both are bad news and your asking for some major problems with them.

well if she has friends around the neighborhood than an electric scooter but if she likes being home alot, then a nintendo ds!

yes actually the scooter is amazing its really fun and goes fast my nieghbor has one and she uses it evryday she wont even give it up! and shes in 10th grade shes had it for lke 5 years and never gets tired of it plus the Ds isnt even that good graphics r horrible and i sold mine after a month i got so tired of it!

Get her the scooter. At least that way she can get outside and get fresh air on it.

umm if your daughter is a nerd and loves to play video games buy that DS cause my brother loves his.... but if shes active and stuff... like normal people..... buy the scooter..... umm yeah i gtg play World of Warcraft.. peace! TOODLES

I think you should buy the Nintendo Ds. There's alto of good games. I bought one for my little brother 2 years ago and he was pleased. He really liked the game it camed with. Nintendogs. I was actually having fun with it as well. I mean you should consider something safer for her and maybe the scooter when she's older.

Razor scooter. i got one for my 11th b day and i love it! it is like having a real moped!

Honestly, I would get the Nintendo DS. As other people have stated before, the scooters are very dangerous and there are laws about them in some states. The DS has very cute games to play, such as Nintendogs and Cooking Mama, among many others. I believe this would fit a ten-year-old better, and maybe she can get the scooter when she's older and more responsible (not that she's un-responsible, but she'll probably have better ideas on how to stay safe while riding it when she's older). Or, just ask your daughter what she'd like for her birthday.
