There is one rivit for each handle on the scooter. The rivits are spring loaded, but we lost one of the rivits. Looking for a way to replace the lost one. We have the spring part. I should further clarify that the "rivet" is not fixed, and I think the term rivet is not quite accurate. this is a common push rivet that allows you to remove the handle. Often used when putting two metal poles together, and then taking them apart. LOOK AT THE OWNERS MANUAL AND CALL THE COMPANY TO ORDER A NEW PART. In most cases you can drill a hole through and use a nut and bolt combination. Most companies use rivets because they are cheaper.
