ATV (4-wheel, A.K.A a quad) questions? It's for my 11-year old son.? |
MY 11year old son (12 in december) wants a quad, possibly as an early birthday present. He's been really wanting one before. HE have no experirance regaurding quads, except when he was about 5 or 6 he rode on the back of one. He does ride bikes very well if that helps. My dad got me a Yamaha Blaster when I was 13 (I am 15 now) I still have it it is a nice quad. but i would look in to 90CC quads. There are Orv (Off-Road vehicle) classes given by your state fish and game warden officers at one of there offices look there for the Orv test. also do you have any experience riding quads/dirt bikes? You could also get information at your local ATV dealer ship. Hope this helps you. :) also the guy below me is showing you what happens when you are not responsible and ride on roads. you cant go wrong with yamaha its a good brand in my opinion it would be a waste to get lesoons because riding a quad is like riding a trike its really easy at first you can get a throttle controll which will limit how fast he can go then slowly increase it till he can rid good |
