How much spending money in egypt?

im going to egypt with my partner for one week in april. we are staying in a all inclusive hotel. how much money will we need for spending money? i was thinkin maybe 拢100 would do us. we plan on doing a couple of trips like go on the quad bikes and go to naama bay on the glass bottom boat.

You need more than that. Don't think Egypt is the cheapest place in the world. I bet the airfare is already well over 100 pounds.

i think you should take around 150 english pound, just in case. cause if you want to get few trips you need money. my expectations that you will bring 50 pound back to uk, but just in case ;-) it's so enough :-) and you can always ask for help ATM :-) ;-)

100 sterling pounds isnt enough.
bring with you 500 , and take back what remains on you.
you may be tempted to try a dish or get a drink , buy a T- shirt ,a souvenir , etc.
i prefer to be comfortable in money matters so as to enjoy myself .

I suspect that most of your readers do not know what 'ALL INCLUSIVE' MEANS'. :)

Since everything is already taken care of in the hotel, you will simply need money for shopping and entertainment. Shopping in Egypt is GREAT...and I am sure you are going to want to do a LOT of it, especially if you are good at bargaining! . And tours are quite expensive in the more poplular tourist areas.
As a rule of thumb, I always allow for a minimum of $50. to $100. per day, depending on how many tours I plan to take.
Without knowing exactly what you plan to do, or what kind of shopper you are...it is hard to give you an accurate figure...Just remember that you don't HAVE to spend everything you bring with you. BUT YOU WILL BE TEMPTED. LOL Take more than you think you will need, and be safe. There is nothing so dissapointing as wanting to do something, or buy something, and finding you do not have enough money with you.

If it helps any...you can now find ATM machines in every major city in Egypt, and even some of the smaller towns.
