What to do in Milan? |
I'm going to Milan today for 3 nights, any ideas what we can do and where to go, not really interested in art history museums or wine drinking. Where are all the good clubs and places to eat?? also any recommendations on shopping areas? and any active things we can get up to like paint ball or quad biking we have a car so transport is not an issue. Thanks I been to Milan it's pratically beauitful in the winter. Ummm things to do: Bring a camera and go inside the big church, Go to the GUCCI Cafe Go SHOPPING!! The clothes are on sale at the moement!! So YIPEE!!! Ummm what else : try the ice-cream. That's probally it but shop till night It's beauitful Well Milan means shopping all over the place but your credit card might burn quickly! For restaurants be aware of the expensive tourist traps. If you have a car go to the region Lake Como (approx. 1 hour) and stroll around there. For hiking outside Milan pls consult the tourist office. if you have a car in italy ,, it is always an issue I was in Milan last week and found it very dissapointing compared to other cities i have visited. There is a bar area near the river i think its called navalgi or something like that.Everything was very spread out and finding a taxi was almost impossible not good after a nightout. We decided to take train to florence which was much better spot.Only 2 hours away and pretty cheap. Also went day trip to Lugano in Switzerland where you can hire a boat pretty cheap.Only 1hr30 by train platfom three from milan centrale but you need ticket first and passport think it was desk 52-53.Also went to como which was pretty nice to same train as train to lugano just 2 stops before.Went on sea plane there which was pretty cool.My advice is to stay out of milan if you can.Its good for shops but thats about it.
