no, pocket bikes are banned here... when they first started becoming popular a few years back kids had them all over the roads causing all kinds of hell traffic.... so they banned them from being used on public roads....

and how much you would save would depend on the bike and the car you drive now.... i mean, if you got a bigger bike you might only get 30 mpg, and there is no shortage of cars that can get that same milage....

but on the other hand, a 60-70's muscle car gets about 8-15 mpg, and a 50cc moped could easily get 150 mpg

i donno about houston or pocket bikes but i do know that filling up the tank on a bike is much much cheaper! in NY premium is at almost $4.50 and it still only takes about $14 to fill up the bike!

I dont think you mean pocket bike. Pocket bikes are the really small bikes that look like crotch rockets.Pocket bikes are not legal to drive on the road.
