I have a 49cc pocket bike,why does it die when i throttle all the way?

thanks guy.i got it to work.i took apart the carb and cleaned it.it works fine now.

Sounds like the fuel is too rich when you hit the throttle all the way. This is because it will not send enough air to keep the fuel/air mixture at a desireable ratio.

bad carburetter jets, take your carburetter apart and let it sit over nite in a can of carburetter cleaner, enough to cover it completely, then the next day blow it out real good with an air compresser, put it all back together put back on the bike and also buy a new air filter while your at it. if that doesn't help then you will have to buy a new carburetter.

Did you remove the air filter? It is a carburation problem but it also could be too lean. I tried to put ram air on a moped once and it got way too much air.

read all the other answers and if they dont fix it try taking fuel tap out the fuel tank, most have a guaze filter around them which can clog up, also check filter underneath the float needle.

yes the crab is out if adj just re adj it should fix the prob. and i would clean it sense you are at it .
